Well I know it's standard to have a dislike of the English, but this certainly isn't going to help our relations with the Scots!! Gray, you're apparently really good, which is both frustrating and gauling at once. Additionally, I now have to evaluate the pro-track and consider swapping out bridge and neck positions on my strat...damn your eyes. (I was going to leave the SD in the neck) In all honesty that was a great example of tone and style and it seems you've made some excellent decisions regarding your rig config. More please. Oh, and you look like John Cusack in a hat!

Can hear the speakers - compression/chime from the alnico and the sizzle/low end from the G12H30. Nice combo - ran a G12H30/Weber Blue Alnico 50 watt (similar to the Gold before the Gold was available) and loved it.
Might have to pick up another 212 and do that again...what a great tone/feel.

Cool stuff Ayton!! I think you should have said at the beginning of the vid "I am William Wallace and the rest of you will be spared. Ride back to England and tell them that Scotland's sons and daughters are yours no more!" Then jump into some wicked shredding. :-)

I can't even comprehend how to play like that. Shredding just does not compute!

Thanks for watching, boys! And for the kind words. I will try to squeeze a little Braveheart in next time, maybe rent a kilt. ;D Well Oh, and you look like John Cusack in a hat! Oddly I've had the John Cusack thing before, when I scanned my head into Rainbow Six people told me that. Grosse Pointe Blank is one of my top 10 movies so I am all good with it!

Out of curiousity, where were you running the Compy (settings/full-half/gear)?
BTW, what cab did you load the G12H30/Gold in for the clips?

Hey there Spanky. Most of the clip is 2nd Gear OD2, gain at 3PM, EQs a little below noon, treble more like 10:30, dab of presence. Near the end you see me step on the footswitch, and after that it's 3rd Gear OD1 with all the same settings. Full power throughout.
The speakers are in an open back Avatar 2x12.
You've reminded me that I haven't tried triode yet with this combination. *flips amp on*
