Just got the cabs in yesterday. The one on the right is loaded with BB/SB25's and the one on the left is loaded with Gov/Manowars. I love my Splawn gear and Scott is such a great guy to do business with. I bought the Nitro on the left new and the one of the right barely used from a friend from HC a couple weeks ago. The other guitar player in my band hates me now. ;D

Are you using a ABY to run both at once? I bet the other guitarist does hate you..lol Not at this point. I am just using one head and 2 cabs. I decided to sell a bunch of gear that I was not using in order to buy a 2nd (backup) Nitro. That made more sense to me than having a bunch of gear that I don't use. I used to run a stereo rig when we had one guitar player but I don't need to do all of that anymore.

I will let you know more about the cabs after I have had more time to play them. I like them both but it is too early for me to compare and contrast them well. And yes, they are both Nitro's. The blacked out one has KT77's and the other has EL34B's.

Frightening.
We are gay for speakers. Please compare the two cabs in as much tedious detail as possible when you get the chance. Cheers.

Quick response on the speakers. I personally like the BB/SB25's a tad bit better because they breakup well, are smooth and have a nice low end. However, the MoW/Gov cab has a bit more mids, thump and presence so it seems cuts more in a live setting. I made some crappy recordings last night and I will try to post them here soon.

MoW/Govs sound much better recorded although I still prefer the room tone of the SB/BB's.
