Ya its weird, especially when Im not the rockstar like Slash, that made it big, records everywhere, bla bal bla. Blessed to be the guy (unknown guy? ) that has his signature guitar with his name on it ya. Played with the BEST big boys in the nineties and last "live" gig was opening for Styx in 2006. I NEED to play live again, Im ITCHING like mad! Hard to find guys interested in original material out here in this area of San Diego. Its all good though, I like how Craig has gigs set up like mad (kudo's brother, carry that on) thats what its all about, and if your not in a band, well then just play that axe cause you love that dam guitar...right? I'll meet the right guys soon, I was thinking of writing again with my ol'e Zepher bass player Barry Sparks and do a NEW Zepher CD. We recorded with Barry a 6 song EP in 92' before he joined Malmsteen and left Zepher. Those songs were recorded at Sunset Sound ....yes...where Halen recorded VHI!!! VHII!! Women and Children!!, and Im in the same booth singing/tracking vocal tracks where Roth got blow jobs in the same room!! LOL! Crazy, we were like in awe....saying "Halen recorded their CLASSIC sh!t RIGHT HERE IN THIS ROOM DUDES!" Remember the rain coming down that you hear right before "Love in a simple rhyme" on Women And Children?? Listen close to that rain before the song starts, THATS the open door INSIDE the wood room studio we were in, where the rain was coming down on the courtyard connected to the studio.
They left the door open and placed a mic right outside the door to catch the falling rain. There was even a BEER vending machine...lol you put a buck in and down drops a boy howdy!!
