Mot,
How do you like the eminence speakers compared to the celestions? Which ones do you have? There are so many. I am thinking of switching over.

I guess I never gave the Mojave's a fair chance because an amp without channel switching a lead boost is completely useless to me. I need 3 sounds and 2 volumes to play a gig. I don't see how anyone could do with any less and get through a show. I also like the QR's gain stages better than the Mojave. It didn't seem to allow me to open up my right hand as much.

Well, I guess I should put my 2 cents in here. I have both the Peacemaker and the Splawn Marshall. They both do the brown sound. Love them both! I got the Peacemaker so I could get the early EVH live tone. I was only interested in getting what I heard on the bootlegs, and I feel like I have got it with the Peacemaker. I have a power dampening mod that lowers the volume like a master volume. Works great! It does the old school thing great. The Splawn will also do the EVH thing. Just watch the Al Estrada video clips. I would rather play the Quick Rod just because you can channel switch and get great tones. I play the Splawn stuff more because of the flexibility. I have no regrets about buying the Mojave Peacemaker or the 4x12. The best thing I ever did was discover the Splawn stuff! ;D Both great amps that I use for DIFFERENT STYLES OF MUSIC!  i must say, those 2 amps look awesome together...now i'm jonesing for a splawn cab like that |

No, it was the same price as the other cabs with Eminence. Out of the 2 cabs the Splawn looks better!

so is that just the standard salt and pepper color? I'm color blind..bear with me..LOL..also, which eminence do you have in there? the recommended govornor and 75 watt copies?
