does anyone know how long scott's going to continue to make amps/cabs?
I just don't wanna miss the boat if I have to wait a little longer than i'm anticipating...
see, I told ya..it's a neurotic type of question..but hey, that's me...lol...

Just make sure you get one in a color she likes. Getting mine in snakeskin went a long way in convincing the boss to let me get one. Also remind her its an investment and that if you play out it will pay for itself in a matter of weeks.  |

Also remind her its an investment and that if you play out it will pay for itself in a matter of weeks. those are all good methods...but i like mine...have it shipped to somewhere else...like your office...when you bring it home, just pretend you're in bad mood and start bringing in all the gear from practice/rehearsal( this works great if you're in a gigging band) ...bring the head in also while complaining how someone cut you off....works EVERYTIME.... or sneak it in the back door when she goes to bed and act like it's nothing new when she sees it...results may vary on this one.... |

Oh yeah, I know how to work it man... I also like to remind the wife of the bar tab at the end of the night. The majority of shows I play are in clubs and while I get free booze, she has to pay.... so lets say I make $150.00 and her bar tab is $50, now I'm down to $100 right.... ok follow me on this,, Now when I bought my QR last year they were $1500, so thats 15 shows or about 2 months of gigs. Last year I played 45 weeks out of 52 so thats a pretty reasonable investment.. Then I remind her that the $50 she spends on foo-foo fruity drinks could have went toward more gear, NOW shes feeling all guilty... and lets me buy more stuff I don't need (like a Mansel Guitar!) hahaha,, see its very simple |
