Well...there I was...sitting at work and perusing the e-bay site when....I came across a brand new and still factory sealed in the box Mesa Boogie Stiletto Trident..So I figure I'd throw a bid on it and thought sure that I'd be out bid but no??? I really did'nt want the amp and did'nt expect to win but...I scored!!! I think???,,,lol!  |

I guess my point is that....sometimes ya just throw a bid on something thinking you'll be outbid but the chance of getting something cheap can be exciting...believe me...i don't need the amp (2 Splawns on the way next week) but....for what I won it for. I can keep it around to mess with...  |

LOL.. I 've done that! HAHA.. I end up saying... "come on,,, someone bid on it pppplease!! I really dont want it, cause I found another deal much better ". I got caught once.. it still was a good deal!
If ya break that amp out of the box, let me know how you like it. I was wondering if they are decent, since they are claiming they are the musical mesa amps.

I was SERIOUSLY thinkin' about a Deuce several months ago. Now that I've found Splawn, I'm glad I held off on the Mesa. I would love to hear them side by side though, especially since Mesa seems to be blatantly targeting Marshall with these. Yeah, it definitely sounds like you got quite a bargain kurtsstuff. If you decide to sell it, I don't think you'll lose any money.

I almost did that about a year ago.. I though I was going to get a mint condition Soldano Decatone for $1400.00 but I swear within 30 seconds of the auction ending it had gone up to $2100.. I was like whoaaaaaaa.. Sneaky people. |
