I don't really care where you stay.....but the HI is next to those flee bag/crackish hotels. The hotels on Remount are in a better area. Outback and another steak house walking distance. If you say at the HI you will only have the HI bar to go to. No other people hanging out having fun and all. However, It is closer to the shop. D ok, i looked davo's stuff over...thanks davo that was really helpful ...and i think the holiday inn express is our best bet...it looks the nicest...is off the highway...rates are like $80 a night...is closest to dallas...is on a main road with other hotels so the chances of us being murdered in our sleep decrease exponentially...and it has an indoor pool where we can hose off DC... i say we go with that one...

I'm fine with either one.. Its hard when you don't know an area to make a decision.. but we should probably listen to the local guys.

Oh yeah, The Outback and the Texas Roadhouse close at 11:30 PM. D The rock club in Charlotte is Amo's South End. Angie Aparo on the 29th - I don't know who that is. The double door is old house (blues/rock bar.) One of the coolest places in Charlotte... doubledoorinn.com/page/o98d/Live_Music_Calendar.html
