A little while back i had an idea where members' gigging bands would put "splawn amps presents" on flyers that they'd put up at gigs to advertise their band...this way the splawn name is hanging there also for some free advertising where people go to see live music... an example is something like this from a recent show we played:  it's missing the website address but we're going to add that later i ran this idea by scott and he gave me the go ahead... any costs for flyers/etc need to be paid by the band obviously, it's extremely generous of scott to allow us to use the name. I think this would be a cool way to get the splawn name out there. if you're interetsed in getting involved send me a PM here or an email at DVomvas@optonline.net with your band's name, website, etc. |

Great idea Vom. Even though I'm not gigging at the moment, I still try to give Scott all the advertisement I can by talking about them and wearing my shirt. I was at Guitar Center the other day and these 2 players were trying out a mesa and DSL side by side. I just kept giving them a confused ,like someone pooted in the room look..The salesman was all over them blocking me and my shirt..After playing my Splawn as much as I have, those 2 amps sounded horrible.

I own my own business, and I have a sign you can letter, with info. I am going to put a message on there about splawn amps. How about SPLAWN AMPS ROCK?? Let me know what you guys think, and the winning 1 line moto wins. I will put it up, for all to see, going down the highway. I will take a photo and post it.That way you guys can see it.
