can't say i was ever a huge fan but he's in the new GW with EVH on the cover. in it he has a diary of when Shinedown was in Iraq entertaining the troops. in it he states that he wasn't able to bring his favorite rig that consists of a diezel and JCM 800...this diary was written in nov of 2006 so it's pretty recent, this also jives w/ his equipment diagram a few months ago where he said he has a diezel and a great JCM 800 that he bought off ebay
what happened to the QR?...

Yeah, I saw them with Godsmack a month or so ago and he only had a Diezel VH4 and a Marshall of some kind. |

I forgot about this post but when I saw Jasin in Charlotte a few weeks ago he had the marshall... this one is a smaller fly-rig... Just taking a smaller rig out since they are hitting the studio soon.

Tree everything i've read for the past months is how he loves his 800  ... the article mentions his "trusty" rig of diezel + 800. not once has me mentioned splawn...fook that guy |

Maybe he likes to keep his roadies busy. I mean with the Splawn they'll have nothing to do, but with that Marshall on the road, overseas.. PLENTY to keep them busy. LMAO.

Guy's at splawn say, The splawn is at studio location, for set-up, for recording on new effort. I also heard, that due to rough enviroment , Marshall mode four's were used.  I guess the brother needs to cash a check, and buy himself another SPLAWN.  |

I'LL RESTATE WHAT WAS SAID IN THE ARTICLE...
he mentioned how he loves his marshall/diezel amps but had to leave them at home and play mode 4s for the tour...
he did not say he loves his splawn/diezel...ine very article where he talks about gear he talsk about his beloved marshall/diezels

I have done a number of guitar and amp deals with Jasin including the QR in question he is a great guy to work with. I recall him asking me about a particular jcm 800 that he had been looking for. I know forsure the QR was on the "us and them" cd as far as why it was not on the road im not sure I just know he was very happy with the Splawn sometimes the studio rigs and the live rigs are not the same and thats ok. Who knows maybe next tour it will make it out on the road. I recall asking Jasin about it the last time I talked to him on the Godsmack/Rob Zombie/Shinedown tour he said something about his switching system and the splawn not agreeing with eachother since he had been using a marshall tsl before the 800 got put in there. I honestly dont really recall it was the end of the night and I had more than my share of fun by that point if you know what im saying. ;D

THere's probably no mention because he has to pay for the amps just like everybody else. If he was sponsored and got free gear he would probably mention them.
