from the man himself:
"we have been wanting to do this one for a long time. Its basically gonna be like a great sounding stock 800 in the OD channel so guys can use pedals. The clean will be a Fender twin type circuit with its on gain control. It will probably be in the vain of a Bogner Shiva type amp. I have a lot of blues players in the area who have been after me for a long time to build this amp. We are also gonna do an oversize 2-12 cab as well."

He should call it the: 'Great Scott' amp after Scott Splawn (and Mr Wilson..) a warmer/fatter lower gain Splawn...sounds COOOOOL!

Why in the heck would you want an amp that you had to stick a pedal in front of?

BUT if you wanted to push it h arder it'll accept pedals well....like a marshall boosted w/ a TS-9 or something for example

nice... Glad to hear there will be a model like this. I believe there will be a great market for the Splawn company! as there are a lot of blues guys out there!
I keep waiting for a 2x12 combo amp to come out of the shop! this would be a great head to stuff in a combo cab!

Sounds like a cool amp for da bluez.
A good clean channel this time? I suspect that will change the voicing of the gain channel. Its good to see he's trying out some different types other than modded Marshalls.

awesome! Even though I wouldn't be getting one anytime soon, I always think its awesome when a company expands it's tone in amps.
Who knows i might buy one in the future if its got a unique sound/look! : )
