wow, i was so excited i didn't even realize i had posted in the wrong section =p thanks everyone for the kind words.
seriously, i could not be happier with this amp. it actually sounds better than i thought it would. it's THE sound that's perfect for me. you guys were right about the drive and bass being totally usuable and dynamic. no flub at all even with them dimed. and the clarity, man...i can hear and FEEL everything so much better. it's lush, organic and has some friggin balls. so far im digging 3rd gear OD1 the best.
chuckabooboo and vanlaing...hang in there guys. it is sooooooooo worth the wait.
peace!

I will have mine March 20th. I am really freakin out. I miss my Marshall cause I got so used to the Splawn tone. I know the Quick Rod will be much much better!

vanlaing, the more i play this thing the more i love it. i've been playing it through my avatar 212 (v30s) and it sounds amazing. the low end on this amp is simply amazing. im getting my splawn 212 (governor and manowar patter) today so i can't wait to try it out with that.
im actually really really surprised and pleased with how the amp sounds at low volumes. i think it sounds great at bedroom levels as far as rythym style playing goes. lead playing sounds better a little more cranked in my opinion. i haven't been able to really crank it but i can tell it'll sound beastly.
ill post pics and maybe more of a review later tonight once i try with the new cab.
let us know when ya get yours and how you like it. peace!

...i haven't been able to really crank it but i can tell it'll sound beastly. I just played my last gig with the master at around 11:30~12ish. It was awesome!!! (If you check out my pics in the the Splawn Pics page...you'll notice that not too many people were standing directly in front of me...and that club was PACKED!!)

master on noon? I did that once...ONCE....lol....nobody was in front of my cab either..heheh.... It was rough!!! ;D ;D ;D When I'd hit a heavy palm mute, the concussion almost knocked me off the stage!!! Thank heavens for the ISP Decimeter...standing 10 feet in front of the amp was definitely not something the solo button liked!!!

I used to run the Marshall at 11-12 O'Clock. I am sure I will run the Quick Rod the same when I get it!
