Couldn't help myself. Friend had a Desert Kamikaze. Liked it. However, it was a brick. maple=earlier development of a hunchback...lol I believe it was a skull-iosis model. It came with an ESP back brace. TeeHee. Love the Desert Kamikaze.

I was eyeballing that J E Lee charvel also.. Whats the difference between a commando and Mansel? Does Mansel make both? Commando has a tung oil body and is made by Splawn. No paint. You can get a strat-ish headstock. Setup should be awesome. Mansel's have body have Bodies/necks built by David McNaught and paint by Dave Mansel. No strat HS on mansel. Mansel could build a commando style guitar but not strat style headstock.

No Idea. The Commando should be more affordable. I would think somewhere in-between $1,000 and $1,500. But, I really don't know. You will have to ask some of the other mansel owners about the price. Will they say? don't know.
