Man...I wish I could use a pick...I would be so much more articulate and fast. I use the lightest strings .9-.36 also...sad but true!

You don't use a pick at all? ala Beck? or like Classical style?

I faithfully use d'addario 10-52 on my Strat and DR's 10-56 on my LP. I like the heavy bottom strings but I can't always find them in the stores around here.
I love the DR's for my LP and will never change. The Strat I can kinda use whatever but I find the DR'd are to meaty for it and the d'addario's last the longest.
As for picks well I am kind of an exception. I use Dunlop Delrin 1.5 mm picks or jazz stubby's (the old purple ones). I just don't like picks with any play for electric guitars. I think the only thing that suffers a bit with those thick picks is my clean strumming but who needs that! I'm a d*mn rocker, I don't need no stinking strumming:)
I do want to try those jazz III's that craig uses but nobody sells them by me?
