Ok...I've come to my senses and I'm looking hard for another Quick Rod or Pro Mod...Preferably a newer version as I understand the clean channel is better....Wished I would have taken more time with my Pro Mod before I tarded it off...  Kurt check your pm's. |

I've got an old school PM. I't's in really good shape. Black and gold. Mine doesn't have the half power switch. I gigged with it one time, just to try it out. I got nothing but compliments on my tone. I'm getting ready to by a new one from Scott. So, let me know, OK?

The Diezel ain't cutting it? The more I play the Pro Mod the less I understand why you got rid it. I think it sounds killer. It just may have been something you weren't used to or didn't give it enough time. Oh and I still have that panel if you need it, I finally got it from my bass player. sorry  |

Don't worry about the back plate...that amp is long gone!! |

Don't worry about the back plate...that amp is long gone!! Yeah it takes time to get to know an amp and how it reacts in different situations. If you have the newer QR you can dial in the PM quite easily by turning down the mids and upping the bass. Unfortunately you can't cop the QR wuth the PM though because of the lack of mids:( that would be the only reason for me to get the QR which I might if I get sick of the PM some day but for now I am completely satisfied with the sound )which aint easy for me!). I'll chuck the back plate:) |
