www.melodicrock.com/i've waited 21 years for a DLR reunion...and now that one is on the horizon there's no Michael Anthony...instead a 15 year old kid is being shopped around to replace him...is this the fookin twilight zone?? WTF HAPPENED TO THIS BAND!!! i'm seriously considering not attending........ wtf!

Those Van Halen brothers are just a bit headstrong. i am done defending ed....this is the craziest thing he's ever done... i'm all for a new VH w/ wolfie on bass...just not a reunion tour with all the original guys AND wolfie... if they want to find a new singer and have wolfie on bass...cool by me.... |

I saw this somewhere else and couldn't fookin believe it!
Michael Anthony is 1/4 of VH as I see it. No reunion without him,end of discussion.
What about his vocals,those killer high harmonies? And I have always thought he was underated as a bass player.
Wow this really sucks.
He plays with Sammy so I guess they can't get past that.

Oh my FN gawd!!! ......And who the hell is going to sing all the background vocals!!!! All the good ones were Mike!! Eddies sings like ASS and DLR has barely any voice left!! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will tell ya, as a life long VH fan....after all these years...as a guitarist who thinks Eddie is (was) the greatest...the only person at this point that I would like to spend a few hours and beers with is Mike......i would love to pick his mind....he knows everything about VH.....I would pay anything to hang with him and have an honest chat.....

HAHAH n0fx, I think I am having a midlife thing too!
Right on Vom, Its interesting to me as there will be 3 members of the VH family, one DLR, so maybe now they can take dave down when needed? LOL.. Just kiddin, I dont know what to think. but the pressure is on for wolfgang. and Ed is going to have to kick it up a knotch. Alex seems to be running smooth.. this will be interesting if it all gets kicked off. I really wonder of EVH and DLR will get along " that long ".

Call it something else and let the kid rock...no problem. And is DLR in this??? I have not heard any confirmation of this. Hold it.. relax... you have had a very serious trama to your brain. flashbacks from your youth has jumped forth,... this happens with serious emotional trama, there is only one cure, crank up Van Halen 1st Album to the max levels for one hour aday. this should cure the problem in your visions. :-) |
