you know what though, I'll take this one step further..a bad singer is a bad singer...male, female, hermaphrodite...doesn't matter.... I think stereotyping all women 'rockers' is a bit much though =) we have a couple around here...some are just really bad...well, not that they can't sing..but they SHOULDN'T be singing rock songs....and there's a few that kick a@@..one band in particular who does a cover of baracuda that plain out rocks from beginning to end..and she's very down to earth... don't have to be female to be an ego driven singer  |

Very cool motrock, I hope you get to hang out and jam some big stages with your friend. Nuthin better than knowing someone who has made it ( if we dont get the chance). I have a buddy that made it to the top of the world,, I never see him or hear from him anymore. (he is too busy and travels for months at a time), but its cool you get to see it happen.. and be there for it in the beginning..
it's all good.

I just take music too seriously because I think it means so much an I see the state it is in today. Ohh...the horror. Even bands I used to love can't even make a decent album anymore. It always sounds like a d@mn commercial or just boring. Smething ain't right. |

VH has been on the outs for awhile, maiden can't write their way out of a paper bag, tesla went classic rock (not that there's anything wrong with that, but that's NOT what they do)....it's sad...that's why I listen to very few american bands these days...their all flavor of the month.... |

hacksaw, who's your buddy?...who does he play for? Well we toured in the 80s for 5 years together.. had a blast. then he left the band and said " I git a gig in Texas, ( dallas area) we said best of luck , he hosted a morning show there, then went on to host Rock n Roll jeoperdy, I ask him if he was going to change his name since we made fun of it all the time.. he said no.. he was going to keep it. and he did.. Jeff Probst, Host of the show Survivor. btw he was the lead Singer/bass player. so I think that makes him at the top of the game. |
