This is imperitive. It also helped me differentiate between the tones of the Nitro and QR a little more. I think the QR is better voiced for me anyways... What if I used all sb25s ? would that sound crappy (clip sounded damn good to me)... I like the idea of pushing a 100 watt head into only 100 watts of speakers... Drives real nice . Good idea bad idea?

Someone should start a poll to see which combination of speakers the people on this board like best. I think it would be interesting! Please, somebody do that soon. As a pre-requisite, you should have to listen to each clip at least 15 times... I think that's an excellent idea, and I've set them up. Nitro speaker pollQuick Rod speaker pollMade sense to me to split it up by amp. and no Pro Mod poll........ We don't count.

Awesome job windsen. I have to say in all honesty I still like the QR MOW/GOV combo the best. The Nitro clip was also awesome with that combo.

Good idea bad idea? The SB25's are not 25 watts, they are 55 watts. And an all-SB25 cab would sound great. Another great combination to consider is the SB25/BB x-pattern, that would sound huge.

Windsen, is there any chance I (we) could get a tab of your riff. It's freaking catchy as hell. And what a great public service you have done..... "we're not worthy, we're not worthy!"

Sorry for the late reply DC, I missed your post.
The cab sounded really good. You need to be out front just a bit more in the mains though...I've noticed that during the last few shows I've attended. Are you running 50 watt or 100 watt mode at the shows ?

Wow this was awesome!
Being that I don't need GAS right now I'm thankful that my fav was the quickrod/ gov,mow combo as well. Which happens to be my setup lol!
I'm glad that I'm happy and have found the best sound for my tastes. My wallet cant afford a nitro or more speakers lol!

Just a reminder since I can't remember. What are the Celestion "equivalents" to the Gov and Manowar? I think maybe I liked that combo best.
