Ah, the one that got away, eh Daz? Why do people flip gear they love? It's an eternal question. How relevant that you have the Creation of Adam on the wall. I bet Scott breathed life into that ol' Marshall.

man...2 yrs ago!!! thats bad.. your not the first to say this actually..ive spoken to a few who have been waiting almost as long.. from what i can gather, things are supposed to be turning around for him now..he's back on track by all accounts?? i just picked up a 2003 plexi with aldrich mod thats coming to me next week over here in the uk. i was gonna do exactly the same thing until i read some of the horror stories..then the one i bought came up for $1900 so i bought it. ive been informed he doesnt reply to emails or calls...im very surprised he's not been landed in court!!

hey Vom, what role does this new guy Chris play as the so called business partner for Cameron? Do you know anything in regards to that? Have you tried any communication with them about your amp in the last bit of time?

Have you tried any communication with them about your amp in the last bit of time? i think Chris is just the guy that put up most of the money to get the business up and running. i just kinda picked up on that from all the posts i read. he's in NJ and mark's in CA , so i don't think chris is building any amps, i think he's just the "business guy" while mark is the "builder". last time i spoke to Mark was probably 7 months ago. he told me at that time that ALL MODS WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL HE GETS HIS AMP LINE UP AND RUNNING. i agreed to wait because what other options do i really have. i'm real busy with my work and the band and i really dont have time to keep chasing up this amp - i don't really even think about it until i see people talking about camerons or cameron mods on the web. if i spoke to mark he'd just tell me that i have to wait a bit longer [glow=red,2,300] for a small time while i was waiting for my mod i owned the cameron modded amp that inspired my 3- channel mod that i'm waiting for. the Splawn ate it for lunch! which is another reason why i'm not hammering mark constantly. i'll be the first person to admit i bought into that hype...2 years ago. haha. honestly the 3 channels (hg jose/ aldrich/ clean) were kinda weird. it never really had a clean channel like the splawns do and i could never get the levels to be the same between all 3 channels. if i had the aldrich up at a good volume, then the clean and HG jose would be really quiet. you wouldn't be able to really use it live like that. you'd just be able to use it as a single channel amp.
it got you a pretty good whitesnake tone (darrcooper would like that!) but man the QR destroyed it. that's an honest review...so i sold it...that amp also had ALOT of owners before me...[/glow]so that's pretty much why i'm not constantly hammering mark. i'd be really interested to see if my mod worked any better
