I would really like to hear a recording of that rig. Any of you remember my favorite childhood movie, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?" Well, d!ck Van Dyke gets this old car and holes up in his garage for like weeks, fixing it up, and then at the end out pops this amazing car that floats, flies, and gets Truly Scrumptious to lift up her dress - err at least dance around like the chick on the Barenaked Ladies video. Well, that's where I'm at right now. I'm holed up in my garage, and that jalopy is my skills, and someday I'm going to roll out ol' Chitty and hopefully someone will lift their dress. But, it's a ways off. But in all seriousness, I have neither a decent mic or soundcard, and now it appears I must save my money for a trip to see Maiden.

we played with BOC last year...i just about sh!t when they played that song live BOC was the first rock album I ever purchased - Agents of Fortune. Gawd, I just loves me some BOC. I'm going to have to make a point to see them again next time they're in town. BOCs got it figured out. They tour all over the place, play stuff people WANT TO HEAR. Do it at a fair price. They know their fanbase and know that their fanbase wants to hear Cities on Flame and not some thing they just recorded two days ago and are trying to schlep. Buck is so underrated. IMO, and this is not a popular opinion, BOC was America's answer to Sabbath, and did it much much better, had much more imagination, has had better longevity, and I think influenced many more people than would care to admit. Flame away - Cities on Flame that is.

little known trivia: in Scream (the movie) - when the Scream guy is attacking that party of 5 chick in her house and she uses the closet door to lock the bedroom door from opening...when that guy throws off his mask and gown and then climbs into her window and she's not sure if he's the killer, etc...faintly in the background you can hear an acoustic instrumental version of Don't Fear the Reaper playing. Always thought that was cool they threw that in there.

Didn't need it. The top half rocks fine by itself.
