What kind of pedal board is that and what pedals were you running? I some boss digital delays, a tuner, and TS 808 but that's all I can make out. It's called "Pedal pad" MF has them. They're really convenient. Craggin is using the same one. I have a voodoolab power supply underneath. It's set up for rock and chickin pickin. I've got Boss TU Tuner Boss DD3 (for chickin pickin slap back) Boss DD5 (for slow songs that make shredder go, Ahhhh) Voodoolab Sparkle Drive ( use the clean knob for chickin pickin) Sonny boy overdrive Ibanez TS-808 Boss CS-2 Compressor (for chickin pickin) Morley Bad Horsie Ok, I know the Pedal Pad, nice but expensive (aren't they all?). Are those the same pedals you run with the Splawn? I'd be surprised if you used the overdrives for the Pro Mod.

I normally don't bring out the pedal board at all when I play but I've been doing a lot of chickin pickin live these days so I need that whole set up going for that. Splawn just makes everything easy. Plug in and play. Sometimes I'll put an Mxr Phase in there also.

Don how was the studio and that 67 Deluxe Reverb? I absolutely love deluxe reverbs. That tune on myspace "Pappy O'daniel" was recorded using my 64 deluxe reverb and my 65 reissue Deluxe reverb in stereo with a compressor. Those little amps sound so good.

That tune on myspace "Pappy O'daniel" was recorded using my 64 deluxe reverb and my 65 reissue Deluxe reverb in stereo with a compressor. Those little amps sound so good. Man, it didn't work out so well. Alot of time and money were wasted. The DR they had was a blackface '67 and I thought that would be perfect to get a slight crunch out of. Problem was if I turned the volume past 4 to get that overdrive the speaker would just fart out! I really think that was the problem and they desparately need to change it. I don't know what kind it had but it couldn't handle the bass and volume. I tried everything from running a compressor to turning the bass down to 2, but no cigar. We finally had to give up and go with the Orange AD-30 for that crunch sound. It came out sounding decent but it wasn't exactly what I was going for. On a more positive note, there were a few surf rock style riffs in the song where I used the DR set to clean with the reverb cranking and vibrato set pretty intense. Those parts sounded killer! Oh and the Splawn just kicked a** up and down. I'll post it when we get it finished.
