Hi guys, my competition's arrived and it's sounding pretty sweet!
had a 4x12 cab with 2 Governors and 2 Private Jacks..
well the Private Jacks sucked testicles mixed with the Governors way too much high end really shrill but had an interesting bottom end.
Im thinking of mixing the Governors with Man O Wars or G12T75's
any other ideas??? Electro Voice Zakk Wyldes?? anything thats going to bring out more bass in the amp really..

Hey buddy, I was on the phone this afternoon with josh sage, owner of rebel amps, a splawn dealer, and we had a, what speakers work with splawn amps talk. We both like and agree on what a 4-12 cab with all greenback reissue celestions does for splawn amps. Alot of the guys will back me up on this. Go back, and read alot of the old threads on the forum, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, lately according to josh, the guys at splawn have been recomending 4-12 cabs with 2-g-12h 30's, and 2-75 watt speakers, mounted in an x pattern. The 75 watter's, I'm told can be celestion, or emminence speakers. The g-12's are called, anniversary 30's. I have a cab with reissue greenies in it, and they are terrific for the splawn head. They let all the articulation of my splawn out, while I'm playing, with out any unwanted added spikes in the output of my tone. The splawn does'nt need any mid range help, in the tone category, unlike the orange, marshall, etc........ I think I will be trying the g-12h-30's, and 75 watt choice in my next cab, which likely will be in a week or two. ;D I called splawn about 5:30p.m. eastern time today and Josh that works there told me to call back tomorrow, to talk to scott, about what difference, the celestion, and or emminence 75-watt speaker choice makes, along with the g-12h-30's, celestions. Hope this helps. Otherwise, call Josh at rebel amps, or splawn. If you need the number, let me know.talk again, bro.

I had PJ's in my cab. I gave them a fair shake... 6 months or so. Replaced them with Greenbacks and couldn't be happier.
