Sounds great Shreder, still retains clarity through the fast riffing

What kind of guitar-body was being played through most of these Nitro videos? Is that a mahogany body?

gtrwun, Speaking of ruling. Your avatar ROCKS!!!! Kenny Blankenship is my hero. D. Shred...you rule the face of the earth! That was great stuff. The Nitro sounds great. Really can hear a different thing happening in the midrange frequency, from the QR for sure. Still sounds tight as hell to me...I love it. Really nice to hear the heavy rhythm playin for sure. Thanks...

Ah, that confirms it then... So in most of the videos, the red guitar on the right being played through the quickrod is the Vominator with the Alder body? That would exactly explain the brighter, thinner tone I was hearing in comparison to the other guitar being played through the Nitro - which sounds to me like a Mahogany body, that must have been the Mahogany/Koa Commando.

Sonic yeah...it's alder w/ a duncan distortion....the only vids that I know of with the Vominator through the Nitro are mine..the rest were TJ through the quick rod..can't remember which cabinet...

Are any of those vids of yours with the vominator through the Nitro online yet? That would tell me a LOT about the tone of the Nitro since I'd have a baseline to compare against.

Shred, nice brutal riffing. Do you remember even roughly how the EQ was set?
You've already answered my next question, which was going to be "what pickup is in the Vominator?" Because that pup sounds like it hits the QR really well in the "versus" videos. I'll have to order one and put it in something. Do you know if it comes with a set of TJ's hands?
