Hey All, just saying hello as a new member. I've been lurking for a while, and decided to join. I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be much activity, but that's cool... I love my Splawns, and just wanted to be a part of the group.
Thanks again for the add!

Welcome Warind! Yeah it's quite around here but good content and great guys. Thank you for the welcome. Seems pretty laid back here, and the content is why I decided to join. Not sure how much I'll be able to contribute, as forums really aren't my thing these days.. but I appreciate being here.

Welcome aboard!! Show us some pics of your gear!!! Thanks for the welcome! And here are some pics.. lol The Splawns are a fully loaded 2020 Quick Rod sitting on a 2006 (I believe) straight cab loaded with Eminence MOW and Governor's and a 2014 Nitro sitting on a newer 2016 (I believe) angled cab loaded with V30's and Creambacks. I'd have to actually look at the cab serials to confirm the dates, but I think that's pretty close. The Nitro will be getting sent back to Scott to get the fully loaded mods done to it.. If I can get off my lazy butt to pack it up and send it. My only wish, is that my playing ability was commensurate with the gear I have.. LOL I've always pretty much been a "bedroom" player with some brief forays into the "garage band" arena.

Great set up. I bet those two in stereo is insane. And a VTM 60 head to boot? Tell me more about that quilted tobacco burst or coffee burst or whatever that is PRS? Love the Carvins as well.

Love the Carvins as well. Thanks for the kind comments. Much appreciated. Splawndude.. That's actually a Carvin CT as well, like the others. I've owned a few PRS's, and they are phenomenal guitars but the Carvin CT's are very comparable and cost less. I was looking for something similar in specs to a Les Paul Custom (mahogany/maple with ebony fretboard, etc.), but without the weight and that led me to the PRS's. Then I wanted a PRS with a Floyd (lots of $$$$), and that led me to the Carvin's. lol

Nice warmoths and pic of Randy! Thanks! Warmoth's make up about 50% of the guitars I own at the moment. I love to tinker, and putting them together allows me to build what I want to my specs. I would say that I probably work on guitars a lot more than I play them. I'm actually starting to branch out into building my own bodies recently and have a couple of projects in the works. And Randy.. What can I say. I credit that man with the reason I play guitar.
