No they are not drop in replacement. Had to change whole bunch of resistors and i beleive the OT but this was all done by previous owner.
They sound less edgy than a el34. It's kinda like it sounds a tad more musical and soldano'ish.
To be honest the difference is not huge but it's there.

Drop in on a QR. KT88s draw a lot more power so you need the resistor mod to accommodate.

I rarely use my phone to browse forums but that looks normal to me. Looks like the desktop version. Check your phone's browser to see if you are in 'desktop mode'. For example, on my phone on Google on at bottom right of this page there is the option for 'desktop' and it looks just like yours. This is the classic GUI that we've had since the beginning.

Yeah i tried that......still the same. Not a big deal. Just weird how suddenly it goes back to the desktop version without me changing anything.

Ok i fixed it lol. Was easy......just scroll down to bottom of page and tap on where it says mobile version lol. I m an idiot!🤪

Yep - am familiar with both. Glad you got it sorted.
I never cared for the mobile version as you can't get as much information at a glance as you can in desktop mode.
