Hi guys,
I am happy but also sad to tell you that I sold both my Quick Rods. I have owned 5 Splawns and been a member here for a long time. I still plan on sticking around even though there only a handful of us left but you are all great guys. Just wanted to put it out there as I feel like i would be lying if i continue talking Splawn with you guys without letting you know I don't have one anymore.
It's like a guitar geek club for me where i can talk to guys like gtrjunior and splawndude about anything to do with guitar.

I have two modded jcm800's now. One is a 2203 and the other 4104.
I don't want to critic the qr's as to why I sold them because they are great amps but Yeah i just finally said i am going to keep chasing......

briman that's cool stick around sometimes you need to do what's right for you. I don't always log in but I do check the forums out weekly. I have different amps also. Your still a brother and member of the family. What cabs are you cranking the Marshalls thru

Thanks Schmasty! Yeah i have been here so long that you guys are like family!
I am using same speakers with the 2203 which is 2 creambacks and 2 greenies in a 4x12. With the 4104 i have 2 g12-65's in the combo and 2 g12-70's in the cab. Both sound awesome but i am really digging the 65's!!!
Now I know why they are so sought after!! They sell for more $ than greenies or creamies around here....

I honestly think the 65's are the best speaker i have ever played through now! I used to be a greenback guy but......65 is awesome. Like a greenie but warmer!
