Hey all I recently picked up a 2x12 splawn cab with blown small blocks in it. Am looking for recommendations on speakers. I know and have read almost every post on here but have seen no opinions on putting in ev12l 's, has any one else done this and have an opinion? Also would you leave it a closed back cab or open it up with such big speakers in there? Thanks for the help,
Mostly play and try to achieve a heavy black label/ zakk wylde type metal. Thru actives mostly deep n heavy

Thru actives mostly deep n heavy Dude I have ev12l in mine and it's a 2x12 emperor cab I have two of them and it sounds huge. I also have a 4x12 with 2 ev12l and x pattern with the ev sro for a modern vintage sound. Love the ev Since I do have two 2x12 emperor cabs I have had a chance to try them out with a few great speakers and I promise ev is the way to go. |
