First, I have a 20th Ann. Shiva and it is as versatile as the Streetrod and has plenty of options with the Shift anf Mode switches, Boost, etc. However, both sound different enough to have both....which I plan on doing! To me, nothing beats a Marshall type amp...for me the Shiva and Streetrod may be all I need. LOL 
I play in a band that covers Beach Boys to Metallica to B-52s to Rainbow to Katy perry.
I use every bit of options available. That's one of the reasons I chose Splawn for an amp.
More options than SLO or Shiva. (couple amps I tried first)
I'll Switch from clean or clean /w/ chorus to 1st or 2nd gear depending on song and boost or boost /w/OD2 for high gain leads. We click songs right off and there's no time to meander back to my amp and change a switch for gear change.
