BWBK has a story on this tragic event. He was a gifted and melodic player. I still listen to Victims of the Future and Corridors of Power. Killer playing. I'll miss him.

Awesome player, one of the most melodic, soulful and powerful players around. A true legend. My band mate in my Thin Lizzy trib band is a MASSIVE Moore fan and plays just like him, a great player. Really hit him hard though RIP Gary

I did a cover of album of blues songs Turkish and asked him if I could do the song "still got the blues" in Turkish on my album. Most of the other artists I asked thought I was kidding But Gary listened to my version and gave me permission and "personally wishes me luck"... he was that kid of special guitarist... he was a spiritually elevated player who brought back soulful blues to the world when everyone was sweeping speeded minor arpeggios. he will be missed by everyone... he was truly one of the Great ones... RIP big brother
