I have a Pro Stock and LOVE IT!!!! I'm so stoked from this amp that I plan selling one of my other amps and buying another Splawn! Now, I'm a bit worried if buying a QR or another PS. The truth is that I don't necessarly need a clean channel in this amp (even if it would be a nice bonus), since the PS cleans up pretty well with the guitar vol control. Then again I'm worried if the dirty channel is exactly the same in the QR. If the PS is even slightly more agressive I'd rather get another one and also save some bucks... so, pls discuss  |

Exactly what are you looking for in another amp? I'd recommend you be more specific and you'll get better information.
For example, will you be using it as a backup for what you already have? Are you looking for a different sound / tone -- be specific as in more gain, warmer, more modern, sounds like an "xxx", etc...? Different features? A combo format?

So you want another amp with the exact same tone as your pro stock.  Sounds like you want another Pro stock. |

Sorry, but I really don't understand the purpose of your post. I thought that maybe you were looking for something a little different and I was trying to figure that out (what you mean by "more aggressive", do you really want "a clean channel", what else?). If all you're doing is proclaiming that you love your PS and you want another one... well, then just buy another one. |

well, sometimes reading very quickly doesn't help the understanding, but I'll try do be clearer.
1 - I have a pro stock and I love it
2 - I'd like to have another Splawn
3 - I'd like to have the same tone of the PS but with a clean channel too
4 - the QR seems to be exactly what I want
5 - since I've heard/read someone who claimed that the PS should be slightly more agressive than the dirty channel of the QR I was asking if that is confirmed or BS...

I have a QR and a PS I have 2 friends with QR and 1 with nitro. The QRs each sound different so it's kinda moot all splawnamp sound great but slightly different. One of the QR is warmer smoother than other 2. PS sounds similar maybe slightly punchier and defined, but also less forgiving, which I like.I Don't use clean on any of them save money get PS.
