I wouldn't want the Marshall look, because its a Marshall look... I mean its not a Plexi, its better than a Plexi, so why make it look like a Plexi,, Blah.. BORING. My new one doesn't look like any amp in existence.. its got a little Soldano, a little Marshall and alot of Splawn look to it,, thats the way to go for me. *banned - for supporting the looks of the shred-rod*

the whole appeal of the trad look is that it looks like a marshall plexi, but screams like a splawn...understated beauty...
the lexan looks like you're looking through the window of a doughnut shop to see how they make the doughnuts....

I have always loved the Orange look. That, with the simpleness of the Hiwatt look can't be beat, imho. Timeless classics, so to speak. Agreed. Simple is certainly better when it comes to looks I think. For instance I hate the look of Diezels and would never spend that much money no matter how rich I was or how good it sounded because I simply can't stand the look of it!

I'm more than glad that you and you family are on the winning team (Jesus)....there is a method to my madness and one day I may share it with you.....until then I am more than willing to wear the set of 'ass ears' that fit so comfortably upon my bald head... Let's move forward.................. Winning team?? Does that mean if he wasn't "Jesus' side" his little girl would have suffered? I knew there was a reason I didn't back you up on this one jimbax. Sorry for your loss nolonger.. I truly don't mean to preach or tick people off here...but, Christianity is exclusive by nature...if you don't believe it? that's your business....move forward... If you do believe then you will understand what I said...God says: 'the message of the cross (Christ.. the gospel) is 'offensive' to those that are perishing'....your argument is with God not me... and, my point IS that because 'nolonger 5's daughter knew Jesus she DIDN'T suffer and is NOW in a much better place than you or I....and for that I praise Him!... now, let's move forward....

What do you guys think of the 800 QR? I wouldn't get in the colors like the one Scott has on his site, probably just go black, but I haven't ordered mine because of this dilemma. It's between the stock QR box and the 800 box and I haven't been able to decide yet.

I had the BBQ idea back in the 70's....saw Randy Rhoads in Quiet Riot and he put the guts of a Marshall in this shoddy lookin' Sears Silvertone head cab...the thing was about 4" too long for the Marshall cab it set on...it was funny/cool...I wanted to put a 'hibachi' BBQ on top of my cab and have it all smokin and everything...people would look and think: 'what the? is he using ...put the head behind the cab out of site etc...
