now to local news.....local rock guitarist 'dirrtyCraig' from the rock band 'DirrtyHairy' was arrested today on suspicion of crack intoxification....he was found with crack pipe and crack paraphenelia in his possession...no crack was found however as police believe that he smoked it all...though Dirrtycraig was incoherent it was believed by eyewitnesses that he was muttering: "Jake is better than Randy" over and over again....we have no clue as to what this means...now on to sports.....

Give me some more crack and the opening riff to "Never" any day.. LOL.. The solo in "Secret Loser".. c'mon,, The guy practically invented the quad riff, after Eddie.. and Randy's hacked sloppy quads on "I don't know",,
Norum was better dude, c'mon. open up your ears. Norum has taste, chops and great feel, and something Randy didn't,, control.

Like so many others SplawnFan, your stuck in the nostalgia of buying that first Ozzy record. Hey I felt the same way,,, AT THE TIME. . But the guitar has exponentially expanded in so many ways since then, its time to let go brother... LMAO.

My style and tastes haven'y changed all that much since I was younger, I just am able to pull off better riffs now. I guess I was always a bit of the exception though since my main influences are Hendrix, Page, and Gilmour. Theres just too many trendy guitarists my age looking to play what makes them look cool instead of learning to do something unique and inspiring.

Wait a minute officer, before you take these two crack heads away...I had the 'Ultimate Sin' concert on video for years...(don't know where it is now..) Jake comes out wearing some kinda trench coat...white strat etc...busts out a bunch o' barre chords and some cheese riffs with a TON of modulation all over his guitar...I like him as a guitar player....Randy was much better than him at THAT stage...triads, quads, quintuplets whatever..(hehe)...AND, I just saw the STUPID zakk wylde video and I have to agree with craig....apart from the chicken pickin' I can play anything I saw him play here...OK coppers, take em' away!
