I'm selling mine cause its just not what I want . I bought it cause i had GAS when i first heard it . It is an awsome amp it just doesn't suit my needs . If I had come across this amp back in my metal days things would probably be different . I think I found my amp in the Q R . Im additcted to the stiffness of the amp . Its funny cause most people hate that about it and it did take some getting use to but now everything else just sounds blurred in comparison .If I hear a bogner or something in that class I think I could get that sound if I ripped my speaker cones . The nitro sounds great, it just isn't as articulate as the Q R . so don't be alarmed just because people are selling them . Like shredder said eveybody likes something different.

the only reason i asked is cuz i have one on order, and id rather not feel like the sellers and blow 2 grand then have to dump it.Ive been there with other amps vht pitbull, mesa triaxis, line6 vetta, prophesy, mode4 , etc... maybe my marshall jvm will be next.most of these i was upgrading to more boutique amps climbing the holy grail of tone ladder.till i found diezel herbert,my favorite, had it for many years and also still have a mesa triple recto as well,i just want the nitro to be a different voice to my other amps,i still cant get over that one clip of scott playing it next to the toolbox, thats what i cant wait for!!!

I have my "favorite" amps thats for sure but....Always interested in trying the "new" "whats hip" "gotta have it" etc..flavor of the day cuz....it's what I do as alot of other people do. When I unload an amp does that make it a bad amp?? Of course not! Usually I unload an amp because it doesn't give me anything I don't already have or...doesn't "feel" right for me but that doesn't mean it's a bad sounding amp...just the feel is off for me..too much latency or too stiff etc......They're all good in their respective category's!!!!

I have one on order. I think that it is the "new thing" and everyone wanted one. From my understanding the Nitro was to satisfy players who were not a huge fan of the strong upper midrange of the Quickrod and wanted a METAL amp that just killz. Real fat lower mids and a smoother upper end. More saturation and sag for the drop tuners who want to play Splawns. The quickrod will do metal and I used to own one. It didn't however have a pronounced lower midrange and mild uppermids. I was able to eq a lot of the upper mids out, but not all of them. From what I have heard of the Nitro it is going to suit my needs perfectly since I play modern drop tuned metal/rock. I can't wait to get the beast.

You wont be dissapponted in your choice to get a Nitro.I really, really dont understand these guys that are getting rid of them, but oh well, thats their choice and they have that right.I am a firm believer that the most important part of your sound is you and the amp you play through is just an extension of your playing.I great player can make a crappy amp sound good.A great amp cant make a crappy player sound better. As far as the Nitro goes,I can pretty much get any sound I want with some tweaking.Guitars,pickups,woods,etc....go a long way in your sound as well....All hail the new KING!!!!! King Nitro!
