So my crybaby classic sounds good, no tone suck (true bypass) but I'm having a tough time dealing with the switch. I used to have a 95Q which had the auto switch (step on it and it turns on) but the buffer sucked and it really impacted my tone (my Street Rod *really* didn't like it) so I got the classic. (Thanks to gtrjunior for that tip!)
But like I said, I've never had a wah with a toe switch and it's a pain!
Any suggestions for small wah's that are switchless that don't suck tone? Was looking at the Morley Maverick, small, switchless, buffered but don't know how good the buffer is.
What say you Splawners?!

I have a bad horsie 2 that I used on my Marshall board for a while. It played better with my Marshall but still had som tone suck. Not nearly as bad as the 95q but it was there. What’s the issue you are having with the switch? On my Classic the switch is effortless. Is it just that you want to not have to switch it on? Maybe I'm just not used to it... but what bugs me is that when I turn it off I don't get a good feeling that it actually is off. When it's quiet everything is fine but in the middle of a loud song I keep second guessing myself wondering if it's really off. A couple of times it wasn't. :/
The 95Q I didn't have to worry about. Actually what I may do at some point is put an LED in my Crybaby classic. That would actually help a lot.
Will mess with it more tonight at practice.

An LED is a common mod. PM RyanNo3 on the other forum....he can do it for you.
He made me a fx loop box...pretty cheap too.
Now that you mention it, I might PM him too. I have a buddy that can probably do it for me too. I’ll check with him first.

Well after a bit of research I realize I don't care for the Morley wah sound, just doesn't have the mojo that a crybaby has.
Will look into modding my crybaby classic with an LED
