Wasn't there a master tube thread?

I used to hang out on this board a looooong time ago, and I distinctly remember there being a master tube thread. Can't seem to find it with the search function. Please say all that info hasn't disappeared!

Also, wasn't there also a master thread with info for biasing? Less important, as I've done it a few times. But that was a goody too.

Hi there,

I don't remember seeing a master tube thread. Not a bad idea. Unfortunately, there are so many different types and brands of tubes out there in can get a bit confusing and/or overwhelming. The good news is, everyone's tastes in music is different and tone is subjective. Therefore, you are almost better off just creating a thread on what tones you are after and how you want shape or improve your tone.

There is an amp biasing tutorial in the FAQ thread. Let me know if you have any questions on that.
