I'm keeping m fingers crossed... The metallic sound you recorded in your video sounded like something I noticed once when my loop was too hot for my Decimator G-String pedal. I had a decimator g string in the loop when that happened... So I bought a boss ns-2 and tried that yesterday but for some reason it would only engage the clean channel...then I put the decimator back in and it worked fine... What was your solution?

It was a different amp that had the issue but turning the channel volume down solved it. On the QR, make sure the loop is set to -10 (instrument level) and it should work fine.

At the time I made that video I believe I was running it +4, so that we probably it. I'll double check when I get home.

I have the Boss N-S2 also It works perfect. You will want to run the 4 cable method this way you will clean the effects loop and the front of the amp. Google image Boss N-S2 4 cable method.. Works great

I had it hooked up that way...guitar to the input then to whatever other pedals then to the front of the amp. I used the pedals"fx loop" to run to the amp's fx loop. At least I think I did....only the clean channel came through.

Just tried the ns-2 again....same thing. For some reason only the clean channel comes through. I stepped on all the footswitch buttons but it didn't help. I use an ns-2 in my Marshall pedalboard so I know I hooked it up right...wtf

Try adjusting the clean channel controls and verify you can hear a change. Sounds like you're bypassing the preamp section and what you think is the clean is just direct into the fx return.

Just checking.. so the effects going to your effects loop last pedal out to the effects loop return. Boos N-S2 Send goes to the input of your amp. Input guitar in or after last effect that will be run in front of your amp. Return to the send of your effects loop ?

Input guitar in or after last effect that will be run in front of your amp. Return to the send of your effects loop ? So the ns 2 has a guitar in/out and a send/return. What I'm doing is plugging guitar into ns 2 guitar in. Guitar out goes to front of amp. ( or next pedal in line)Then send of ns 2 goes to return of amp and send of amp to return of ns 2. Any other pedal that needs a noise gate goes in that loop.
